The Personal Caddy is still a quick installation. Simply mark the height of the T-Nut in the Front Striker Bracket and use a piece of tape to prevent the T-Nut from falling out of the bottom of the Striker Bracket. Remove the Striker Bolts, then, with an assistant, lower the Personal Caddy into the compartment while keeping it as level as possible. After that, reinstall the Striker bolts at their proper height and you should be all set.
In addition to the release of the Personal Caddy is a new Installation Overview Video for the 2015 Ford F-150. You can watch the video on the Steffens Automotive Youtube Channel now.
There is a new and improved installation method for the G4 Elite on the new F-150 that no longer requires access through the stake hole pockets. This means that the installation is a fully clamp-on installation with no modification to the plastic bed rail protectors needed. Steffens Automotive, also, pre-installs all of the weather seals on the covers so there is no longer a temperature requirement when installing the product. Additionally, the Center Latch catch has been integrated into the Windseal Rail assemblies, which removes an entire step from the installation process. That makes the install one of the fastest ever for a G4 Elite.
I’m interested. When the cover towards the cab is opened, how many inches of the bed is exposed? I need to open my toolbox.
Can’t answer that question without knowing your truck bed length. However, you can just divide the length by 4 to give you a rough estimate of the opening.

Can you open and close the tailgate without having to open the rear of the tonneau cover?
For trucks without a locking tailgate: Because your Fold-a-Cover locks your tailgate as well, you must slightly open the rear panel of the cover in order to open your tailgate. (This assumes you installed the bracket to allow your Fold-a-Cover to lock your tailgate.)
For trucks with a locking tailgate: You can open the tailgate if the cover is in the closed position. However, the seal installed on the rear panel is designed to be compressed on top of the tailgate so you will need to open the rear panel prior to closing the tailgate.
