The new 2014 Toyota Tundra was revealed this morning and it will be at The Chicago Auto Show this weekend. The overhauled Tundra is also available in two new upscale models to compete with Ford’s King Ranch and the Ram Longhorn. The 1794 Edition is Western themed after the ranch where the Tundra plant was established in Texas. The Platinum edition will feature custom double stitched leather and chrome accents. The Toyota Tundra hasn’t had a major redesign since 2007 so the newly refreshed 2014 Toyota Tundra is a welcome change for most Tundra fanatics.
Designers reshaped the front end, giving the Tundra a taller grille and integrating it with the hood to give it sharper lines. The three-piece bumper was added to help differentiate the Tundra variants, and Toyota says it will mean lower replacement costs. Additionally, Toyota squared off the fenders to give the truck a more aggressive stance. Changes were also made to the rear bumper and the exterior of the bed, giving the Tundra a much more pronounced profile. -Motor Trend
